Jinseo Lee is a multidisciplinary designer from South Korea based in New York. Working across art direction, branding, editorial, and spatial design, her practice explores the space between play and precision, past and present.
( More about me )
My practice sits at the intersection of play and precision, where type becomes image, text becomes material, and ideas turn into objects, spaces, and experiences. Through my creative process, I explore how design can shift the way everyday things are noticed, interpreted, and experienced.
I approach design as a methodology for inquiry and discovery. My work is concept-driven and playful, rooted in the joy of finding unexpected connections and inviting people to see familiar things from a different perspective. Alongside graphic design, I work through ↗ Drawing, ↗ Photography, Video, and ↗ Sculpture to experiment with materials, forms, and ways of seeing that expand my visual language.
When I'm not at my desk, you'll probably find me searching for good desserts, talking about Hello Kitty, collaging old magazines, or scrolling through my ever-growing camera roll for inspiration.
